About

Graduating from Murray State University in 2018 with a major in TESOL/English Education and a minor in Japanese Language, I've pursued opportunities in fields spanning teaching, sales, and supply chain management. Along the way, I've moved from one side of the planet to the other, from Tokyo to Southern California. For the foreseeable future, I plan to remain in San Diego, CA.

Prior to becoming a web developer, I spent years teaching students as an ESL teacher before moving onto becoming a sales representative for a Japanese electronics distributor. This opened opportunities in Supply Chain Management, where I developed skills in project, vendor, and client management, product procurement, and quality control.

I build websites and web applications every day, working primarily with HTML, CSS, Javascript, and React. I'm actively expanding my techstack to include database languages like SQL, web content management systems such as WordPress, and digital marketing strategies related to SEO optimization. I create websites using a mobile-first philosophy in mind, ensuring they are responsive to every device an end-user might have.
